Next Level TV wins big at Suncoast Access Awards!

Several months ago I submitted the Learn2Ride show to the SunCoast Access Awards. Since I never win anything in life when I was informed that the show was nominated in it's category of "best edcuational/instructional" I was excited but soon that was replaced with dismay as I realized that this was another great opportunity to lose.

This past weekend the awards ceromony was held and I had planned on attending but I didn't feel like getting all dressed up to go lose again. What a mistake that was. I had to wait till Tuesday to find out because the station is closed on Sunday and Monday and the awards were on Saturday.

Not only did it win the category it was nominated in but it picked up 2 other awards, one for "Best Remote footage" and the other was the big one "Best Over All Show". I can't believe it! I won something! Not only the category nominated in but Best Over ALL Show. I'm still bubbling.

If you click on the image on the cover of the web site www.nextleveltv.com I have a list of all the cast, crew and participants.

Peace

Republicans touting energy conversation - can you say recession???

We are only beginning to see the ripple effect that the Gulf coast disaster will cause. I believe we are headed for an economic recession.

With so many people being displaced, all the thousands of jobs that are just gone now because they don't exist, the rising cost of fuel and the already poor economy you better be holding on to the check book. The republican party in the White House is calling for all Americans to use less energy. REPUBLICANS are telling us to CONSERVE ENERGY. What is wrong with that picture? Haven't they been denying global warming since it was first found? Aren't they the ones that give huge corporations all kinds of breaks that have gutted the environmental laws passed by previous administrations?

And if you bought investment homes that need repair??? Wait till you see how much construction materials rise because of the disaster. And because there is so much work many trades people are going to go where the work is at and rebuilding hundreds of miles of Gulf coast is where that will be. Many positions will go unfilled for skilled trades other places in the country driving labor costs up. This is going to be the nail in the coffin for real estate as an investment.

My advice? Don't vote for Republicans.
