It will have the same effect except that the banks will be able to close GOOD mortgages and they will have billions of dollars to work with. We won't have to pay the note any longer and will be able to spend several hundred dollars more a month on good and services. I bet there is over a million people who fit that bill and at $1000 a month average that is a BILLION dollars a month infused into the economy.

Think about it. All that money that would normally go to a mortgage would now be used to do things that would help the small business man that both candidates are saying needs it. I'd be buying new equipment, clothes, pay for things I would never have dreamed of like a lawn service and many other things that in themselves are kind of small but when a million people are doing it make a huge impact.

It is almost as if they are being rewarded for failure. Been trying some other things. Maybe we will do something this summer but until it pays some bills it is just going to have to wait.

Yeah, today Peekaboo had a job. Yes, my dog had a job. She was on TV this morning with a bunch of other dogs at a Pet Co where they are having a puppy health fair sponsored by Hills, the maker of Science Diet and others.

So CH13 has this REALLY SEXY pet consultant Kristen Levine there for the TV shot who was telling me me she used to have an old black lab too. Peekaboo was even cool enough to try and hook me up but you gotta figure someone that hot is married. Thanks Peek.

So anyway, this thing was about spending time with your pet and exersizing for the both of you. They had some exersizes that were obviously made up by some advertising executives sitting behind a table to try to get people interested. Bottom line, if you are sedintary like most just get up and go for a walk for an hour. It will do both you and your dog a great deal of good. 3 times a week and you have an exersize routine. If you have kids and a park nearby then you have a family outing 3 times a week and everyone gets exersize. Cut out the junk food and you are well on your way to a healthy lifestyle.

So thanks to the great people at INNOVA Marketing Anna for giving us the gig and Leroy and the gang on site. Peekaboo found another boyfriend while there but it is a long distance love affair. She was hooking up our boy here with a little luvin shall we say before everyone got there.

aeight - stay tight

F~

Same sex marriage in the US

Should the government recognize same sex marriages here? In my opinion they should but it won’t happen for a while for 2 main reasons. Prejudice and finances.

I don’t care who you are, if you are over say 30 – 35 and older we grew up in a different era. I can remember when I was a kid growing up in Ohio seeing “White” and “Black” drinking fountains and bathrooms on the highway rest stops. My father raised me commonly using the “N” word and there used to be ethnic jokes that would be really offensive by today’s standards told all the time. If you are hip to Carlos Mencia then you know what I’m talking about.

It was funny though that he never really made fun of gays. Which might seem odd but as I got older I learned that I had and uncle and a cousin that was gay. Funny how… But for the most part homosexuals were openly not tolerated back then and these kids that wear the all black would get their ass beat on a daily basis until they quit being that weird back then.

You can’t expect people who grow up in an environment like that to just completely change their way of thinking. Take the Academy Award winning movie Crash. If you have not seen it I urge you to.

So what does that have to do with gay marriage? Simple people that were raised to believe being gay was not a good thing may be accepting on the outside and make many different life choices but in many cases there is still some residual effect of their upbringing. It will take a couple generations to get rid of prejudice like that.

And then there is the financial aspect, insurance companies are some of the most powerful lobbying companies in the world. To a degree they control the world we live in. Don’t think so? Pay your insurance premiums for a few years and then need to make a claim and get turned down and see if that doesn’t ruin your day. How about having to wear seat belts and things of that nature; the insurance lobby is very powerful.

Do you think they want to add a bunch of people on to insurance rolls as spouses? Think how much they will have to cover? They are in business to MAKE money folks. They are not in business to provide you insurance that is just how they have chosen to make money. It isn’t like art. People don’t do art to get rich; they do art because it is something within them. Being in insurance isn’t something within you.

So will we see same sex marriages? People need to be more vocal and form large demonstrations and marches to expedite it. I just don’t see that happening; some day, just now right now.

Bill Gates leaves Microsoft

Only 50 years old Bill gates will be stepping down from heading MS in 2 years to focus on helping the worlds impoverished.

He gets it.

Makes my hair stand up.

He gets it.

The richest man in the world gets it.

It almost makes me well up thinking about it. If you are really knowledgeable about the medical community then you know what I'm saying is true whether you admit it or not.

The term "practice" is used to describe a working physician’s career. But in reality that term has more relevance than you first might think. It is a practice alright, they are practicing on you.

See what most people don't realize is the doctors are just like any other job; except they are working on and troubleshooting the human body. Just like a mechanic works on your car. What they are failing to tell you and new research is proving is that we hardly know anything about the body itself and how it works.

We can tell you what is causing pains; explain the breaking down of the body but why? We don't know and there is a lot more we don't know.

For example: all the psychotropics and crap like Ritalin that we are feeding our society. What the hell did we do before these drugs came along? How did society function before they came along? We got along just fine; you sucked it up and went along. But that does not fuel the pharmaceutical industry.

What if you could take a common habit among children that is somewhat undesirable, label it something and then have a pill to fix it. You then teach doctors that this affliction can be treated with your drug. Doctors begin prescribing the drug and it becomes almost part of the fabric of the society. You'd get filthy stinking rich wouldn't you?

Most every ficken kid gets restless when they are growing up and at times have short attention spans - they are supposed to. Their brain is developing, their body is growing and it is a restless time. Drugging them is not the answer. If they are restless they need to expend the energy. It is simple to see in society if you look at it. Give them an interesting physical task, and get in tune with them to find out about them personally. What works for one person will not work for them all.

Go back 4 generations – about 120 years, when modern medicine was really getting a strong hold. Chemistry was really beginning to play a part and all the discoveries that we now take for granted were just about that time or soon to come. Also at that time we were moving from a primarily agrarian society (most people on farms) to a strongly metropolitan lifestyle. With this change the human body can’t make adjustments that fast so we went from working from sun up to sun down to working in factories. That has developed into a large portion of our population not even really “working” for a living. That is why we have such a huge weight epidemic in the US. That and we eat like crap.

So any way, the kids who used to have to help out around the farm and help around the house are now just expected to sit nicely with their hands folded like little angles and that isn’t’ going to happen. So we drug them?

The problem with all of this is that they are attempting to deal with something that is dealing with the intricate inner workings of the human body. An infection is actually caused by bacteria, illnesses are caused by viruses. These things are not part of the body and therefore are the object of the focus for treatment. Kill the bug and the body will heal itself.

Dealing with issues like LUPUS, cancer, MS and MD are afflictions of the body. Something is wrong with that particular body and it isn’t working right. It just so happens that it is a common enough hiccup that others have it and we name it. The problem is that we are trying to treat it like we do a bacteria and you can’t take a pill to cure cancer. It is a hiccup in the body and that is what you have to address. What is wrong in that particular body. Why did that cell go haywire, why did that gland stop functioning or over function? There is a reason for it and if you address what is wrong with THAT person rather than the fact that they have a swollen gland you then begin to treat the person. Not the illness.

Same with psychotropics, if they are trying to treat someone’s chemical imbalance it purely “practicing” to see what it will do. It isn’t like you take your car in and it is a bad starter or battery and you just replace it and it is fixed. We don’t know enough about the chemistry of the human body and how it works to be effective. What they are doing is trying to treat everyone with similar symptoms with drug X and see what that does. The trouble with that is that what might be a great chemical balance for me might make someone else insane. We are that individual and until we begin to address that with our treatment, it is still Stone Age medicine.

In the future doctors will be able to take a sample of your blood or some of your DNA and run it through a computer and it will be able to read what your chemical balance should be. They will compare that with where you are and then another computer will mix a custom prescription for you and dispense it to you on the spot. Curing what ever is wrong. But for now we are stuck with what we have. Fashion changing every season that goes back and forth from long skirts to short skirts; from bright colors to soft earth tones; I hope all the clothes whores realize it is just a marketing ploy to get you to buy new stuff all the time. Part of the Republican agenda to keep the machine going. Do we really need those holidays or does business?

And how is this one... Do we really need to be at war right now? Talk about keeping the machine going. Ever notice we are always at war when the Republican's are in office? When a Democrat uses military force it is usually a strike, not a war. Republicans go to war for the same reason we get new clothes every season, to keep the was machine going to use up the old so they have to buy the new.

Too bad that in the equation they don't give a shit that part of that cost is our loved ones. When is enough going to be enough for these guys? You know as well as I do all this stuff isn't legal but since they are the ones intreperting the law they just say that it is legal and twist the laws to fit what they want.

Seriously, Clinton was about to be impeached for getting a blowjob and lying about it. Get real, do you think any man that cheated on his wife would pony up to that?

This administration has gotten us into a war over oil, plain and simple. You don't see them going to the rescue where genocide is taking place because they don't have oil. Our friends, brothers, sisters, mother and fathers are over dying over some bullshit lies.

This administration allowed 9/11 to happen and dropped the ball on Katrina. They also have used KGB tactics to do illegal searches and a variety of things that had Clinton done he would have been impeached years ago.

Well, it is time we got back at them. Who wouldn’t?

What if I told you that a product like this exists? Exists and has been around for 20 years. That for a short time major chains and the most elite automotive dealerships used to use it and sold the product but soon dropped it because there was a sharp reduction in fuel system repairs costing them thousands in revenue.

What if I told you that the Florida Department of Transportation used it and got 12.19% in fuel savings alone not to mention the reduction of fuel system maintenance?

Doesn’t this sound too good to be true? You would think that something like this would be incorporated into our daily living to just make life better wouldn’t you? Wait it gets better.

What if I told you that this same product could also reduce emissions enough that we could make a significant impact on the amount of greenhouse gas emitted to the point that it could actually reduce the effects of global warming?

Now that was just too much. OK, I was good with the gas savings, OK with the fuel system maintenance savings but actually cleaning the environment – that was just too much.

Well this product exists and the developer has spent several million dollars of his own money over the last 20 years trying to get you all to see it and it has been suppressed by every market for one reason or another.

Would you support a product that made a significant dent in your revenue? The oil industry doesn’t want it because it would reduce oil consumption by 3 million barrels of oil a day. The automotive industry doesn’t want it because it extends the life of you car engine and basically eliminates fuel system maintenance cutting into their revenue. The friendly “Mart” stores don’t want to sell it because they have automotive repair services in many of their stores and sell auto parts. Auto parts stores won’t carry it because you won’t need to buy as many auto parts. So what is this and how did I learn about it?

I learned about this product while being fortunate enough to be hired to produce some short video clips for the internet. I met the inventor and spent probably 2 hours with him talking and interviewing him listening to this story. And the man will be 85 years young in just a little more than a month so he has a whole lot more to tell than I could crunch in during the few minutes I had. Heck, there was a lot more to the whole “product story” than I had time for but since I have a degree in chemistry he gave me the quick and dirty.

This is REAL science. This is a proven product but for you to completely understand I have to make sure you know something’s because knowledge is a good thing. OK, quick physics and chemistry lesson. In the light spectrum you know of the different wave lengths of light because of a prism. The famous Pink Floyd album cover shows the spectrum of light. This can also be thought of as energy, radiant energy. Well, off to the red end in what is the dark area, where it is completely dark and no visible light is, if you put a thermometer there it will rise in temperature. That is how infrared light was discovered.

So what does that have to do with this product? Well, that key word I used, radiant energy. Did you know that the best automotive engines right now operate at 25% efficiency in relation to how much energy is created when we burn the gas? Actually it is a really crappy use of energy but it is the caveman’s way we know right now on how to do things. Think about all the heat going out the exhaust, the heat in the coolant, all that is energy and it is lost and not used to move the vehicle. Just the BANG and the expansion of the gases are used to move the piston that drives the vehicle.

OK, a little more than you needed but back to the point. What this product does is traps some of that unused radiant energy and converts it into useful energy. This means that your car gets better gas mileage because it burns the gas better. In burning the gas better it is providing a more complete burning of all the components of the fuel. (See where this is going?) And since the fuel is more completely combusted it reduces the green house gas emissions. It can’t clean up what is there but if we significantly reduce the amount we are putting in the air the planet can better deal with what is there and can begin the healing process and get back to a more stable environment.

So what is this magic product? Because of a little “legal” issue I can’t tell you now but I will in the next day or so. There is a huge outcry saying it is unpatriotic, un-American, disrespectful, dishonorable and just plain wrong. That the song should only be sung in English and everyone should speak English. GWB even said exactly that.

Well, I have to agree that everyone in the US should learn English. In Europe it is common for people to speak several languages and here in the US we think everyone should speak our language. I do think anyone interested in living, working or becoming a citizen of the US should learn the language like I would learn French if I moved to France.

However, I don’t think singing the National Anthem in a foreign language is wrong. I actually like it. I think it should be sung in all languages. Do each verse in a different language. I believe it exposes people to the beauty of our country and exemplifies one of the main principal of which this nation was founded and man and women are dying for right now, FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Record gas prices

Oil has closed at record highs for 3 days in a row. If you think gas prices are high now, wait. We are wondering why this is happening, are you kidding? We have an oil-man in the Whitehouse, is it really any surprise? Republicans are rubbing their hands together in glee as oil companies make record profits because they either are owners or own shares in them. Do you really think they are going to do anything about it? What is interesting about this blog and my site is that I hear from people from all over the globe. What I have heard a lot recently is that paying $3.00 a gallon for gas isn't a big deal everywhere else. I find it humorous that GWB is saying in his speeches that Americans are too dependent on oil and we need to find alternative resources. Ummmmm are we not the country that in basically 10 years went to the moon? You're telling me that we couldn't institute some new fuel source in the matter of a few years? Look at ethanol. Now I hold a degree in natural sciences with an emphasis in chemistry. So this blathering that the right does about the difficulties are over dramatized to keep things going as they are so they can get richer. Seriously, consider ethanol. It is a fuel source made from grains, primarily corn. Ummmm, seems to me that farms have been lost in record numbers. Gee, let me think about this for a minute. We have a WAR because the country that it is in is the richest oil reserve in the world. (Are we invading all the oil less nations in Africa where genocide is taking place? No, because they don't have oil) Our country is the most oil dependent in the world soon to be over taken by China which is going to raise competition for oil which will make it more costly. Oil pollutes more and is finite.

Uhmmmmm. Don't cha think that we should be moving to ethanol for now and be researching new and completely different methods of energy sources and ways to deal with waste and recycling? I mean we all know the damage we have done AND CONTINUE TO DO. So why are we still doing it like that?

Moving to ethanol would put a lot of farmers back in business and reduce emissions. So why aren't we going there? Because the establishment does not want to upset the status quo. If they did processing ethanol is a bit different than oil. All of the existing infrastructure would have to be augmented. Meaning money would have to be spent. IT also means that the source for the fuel would be disbursed all over the country. That means that a small operator could build an ethanol production plant near the source and distribute it locally and keep the price down. Gutting the strangle hold the big oil companies have.

Immigrants in the US

There has been a recent huge awareness brought about by the government working to do something about illegal immigrants in this country. There is this claim that we need illegal immigrants because they do the work that "white" people don't want to do.

Being one of the "white" people I feel qualified to comment. The idea that "white" people don't want these jobs is ludicrous. White people don't want to do these jobs for $6 - $8 an hour because you can't support yourself and certainly not a family on about $300 a week. Wanting or not wanting to work isn't the issue. These jobs were here and done by white people long before Latin Americans were a major part of this country. IT is the employers that want to maximize profits as opposed to pay a decent wage.

Some of you may not know but this show is associated with Access TV so that means that I have to pay to do this not get paid. That being the case I have to maintain a second job. Some times it is doing web sites and other times computer related stuff but about 3 days a week I work construction. And I'm not talking finish work, I do concrete and mason work. The dirtiest, nastiest job on a construction site. But I do it for more than $8 an hour.

The real issue - the real issue isn't that people are needed or not needed for jobs, the real issue is being ILLEGAL. I am not a Native American so my relatives came over. My maternal grand parents were from Holland and Slovenia, and my Paternal were from Italy and Hungary. But they were all legal.

It is like a party, there are finite resources for the party, only so much to drink so much to eat. You can't invite everyone. If we do then why not just make the whole world the United States? There are laws established to be followed. We need to put in some checks to see that they are.

My experience with Vonage

Hello everyone, I wanted to realte to you my experience with Vonage internet phone service. I had it for about a year and I had more problems with it than it was worth and I have since gotten rid of it. In my opinion one of the major problems is that they are using persons from India or another foriegn country for their customer service. As hard as these people try there is a language barrier that makes getting problems solved very difficult.

The concept of having unlimited phone service for less than $30 was attractive. I even had a toll free number so it was even more attractive but as poor as the service and customer service was it just wasn't worth it.

I have one of the telephones that logs the time of the calls. In the year that I had it I made over 50 calls to customer service and spent over 47 hours on hold. Luckily I had my phone a speaker phone and was working on my computer during these times because If I just had to sit there and lose that time I would have been really mad.

THe problems I experienced were that my phone service was a lot like a cell phone in a poor service area. The calls would have gaps and drops all the time. I called customer service who wanted me to replace the modem so they sent out a new one, that was bad. SO I sent it back and they never logged it and and charged $99 to my bank account that of course caused an overdraft. I had to fight to get them to get me the $99 back and never saw the $28.

They were supposed to send out another new unit. Never got it so I caled 3 times to finally get another BAD unit sent. I tried to get an RMA but it was such a cluster *#$% by this time I just cancelled the service.

I went back to my local carrier who had a plan for $49 a month unlimited calls and it works fine and I have no porblems.

Lesson - you get what you pay for everywhere in life.

Indy is back!

The Indy racing League is back in town this weekend and it is really gearing up to be a first class event. It is that exact same unselfish act that makes some people go into burning buildings or dive into water to save another. It may be rebuilding buildings or clearing lots but it is just as important to the people you are helping.

If there are any students that are going on Spring Break and not going there... change your plans. It will be the most rewarding thing you will ever do with your life and it will alter it forever. It will give you years of wisdom in just days and help you appreciate just how spoiled we are. You will leave there far more prepared for life than any partying you will ever do.

You are still going to meet hotties and hook up with other students from all over the country but the things you bring from this, the character building life lessons you will learn will help you become the next generation to lead this country. In all likelihood, the people who partake in things of this nature would tend to be more successful because they are risk takers. And you will never gain anything or get anywhere without taking some chances. Taking it to the Next Level.

So these young adults, kids really coming from a person in their 40's, are going to probably be the next captains of commerce and business if not politics. So this is going to be a great place to do great things and meet great people. Take a pen and paper to write names, numbers and addresses. Don’t risk losing them in a cell phone that gets lost or broken. The people you meet there you will want to stay in contact with the rest of your life.

I wish them all well, I’m in the Tampa Bay area and some day it could be us. I live in the county that makes Tampa Bay a Bay so if a massive hurricane hit here this whole county would be underwater.

My best to them all.

Olympic games come to a close

I hope a lot of you watched the Winter Olympic Games. Germany was the big winner with the US in second. As much as I would have liked to see the US come out on top it is nice to see someone else do well so that it isn't like the Olympics are so the US can show how superior we are to the rest of the world. It gives us something to aspire to. Congratulations to all the athletes.

What was different this time for me is that as I was watching the closing ceremonies it struck me just how huge the Olympic Games are. I'm in my early 40's so I have seen a few come and go but as a kid it just seemed to be a bunch of sports. As a young adult I didn't bother to watch but as an adult I watched the games with a bit of interest.

As the closing cermonies took place and were aired last night I watched the arial views of the entire city as the fireworks went off. Shasha Cohen spoke to a journalist and she was overwhelmed at the spectacle. What an extraodinary job Italy did on the games and NBC of presenting them.

What I finally "got" is that this is really the world stopping to a degree and competing in these games. That global aspect never really sunk in until this year and the popularity of Next Level TV. All the places and people I have run across from all over the globe - it is staggering.

Imagine, you are a young teenager who competes at your favorite sport. You do well and make it to some competitions that last one weekend and you eventually you make it to the Olympic games.

Think of the magnatitude - the whole world is watching you and an entire city is dedicated to you for 2 weeks. There is of course training and meetings but think of all the rest. The parties and media coverage and all the fun they must have. I hope that someone there told them all to slow down for a minute to take it all in.

Major media is finally catching up to NLTV.

Hey all, sitting here getting some work done and ABC is running a story now on the disposal of computers. The important part they are covering is the HARD DRIVES that are left in them. They took some drives out of computers in a dump and looked at the contents. There was all kinds of personal information on the drives. Enough to steal identies.

Here is what they didn't cover -
Even if you delete all the information off the drive it can still be retrieved. How about this, even if you format the drive I can still get the information off it. Think I'm kidding? This is important stuff, so much so that I built a fundraising campaign based on it for the charity we are associated with Second Chance http://secondchancelifeskills.org selling data recovery and eradication software. Go there and check it out.

It is what is known as a compilation disk. In short it is a bunch of different software from different vendors all on one disk. The idea behind it is that it is all the critical software that you need all in one shot. Recovery, eradication, firewall and on and on.

OK, now that the sales pitch is over here is why it is important. Ever lose your information off your computer? The recovery software can get it back as long as the hard drive isn't dead. Even if it is on the C drive and the computer won't boot. Yeah, it is that badass.

How about if you use your computer for your business and now you are going to get rid of it? If you pass it on without taking care of the hard drive someone can get it and get everything off of it that was ever on it. Even if you format the hard drive. I'm not kidding. Bookkeeping - the works.

There is data eradication software that has to run on the drive and write to every single space on the drive so it over writes the information on it. To make it so the data is irretrievable you need to do that at least 8 times. That takes more than a DAY for a large drive and I know you are not doing it. That or just never pass on the hard drive and smash the hell out of it so it is destroyed physically.

If you have ever passed on a computer and not done that it is possible for someone to get your info even today if the drive is still in existence and working. All they have to do is hook it up and run the recovery software on it and you're done.

Just like the story I was working on years ago about kids and internet predators NBC did a story on that just about a month ago. Good thing to see they are catching up.

Tell you what, if anyone buys the software from SCLS because of this let me know and I'll get you a 10% discount.

Frank from NLTV

Domestic spying

The President is embroiled in a new issue with his authorizing search warrants and line taps without the benefit of a court.

Personally, in my opinion, I think that if you can get to the President the President could get one of the judges from the "secret court" to authorize a search warrant in probably less than an hour if it was needed bad enough.

I just don’t think that a democracy, and actually a republic should have it leaders authorizing spying on it citizens. I do however think that the court should be able to authorize it in a timely fashion rather than the President so that there is some kind of check in the system.

The New Year - To Sirius or not to Sirius. Please dry up the sponge.

As we approach on the New Year there is a big noise being made about Howard Stern moving to satellite radio. To us in the Tampa Bay area there is a more direct connection because we had a morning radio DJ that was a Howard clone, Bubba the Love Sponge.

He was fired for a myriad of things but the straw that broke the camels back was that they slaughtered a boar live on the air. Yeah, that is radio entertainment at its finest. I’d be so proud.

The gist of his show is to degrade everyone and everything. He calls women “bitches” and “whores” and has all kinds of humor that is designed to titillate and disgust. The thing he does that ticks me off the most is that he cuts people off on the phone every time they start to get the better of him. He can’t cut me off here and there are tens of thousands of you reading this all over the world. Want to read what a jerk he is in his life away from radio? Check this.

Oh, and he has a staff of intellectual dwarfs that work for him who are such ass kissers it is almost embarrassing. I had the misfortune of hooking up with them at Live Stock 13 a few years ago and they were the biggest bunch of jerks on the planet. Talk about thinking your crap dosen't stink; it is laughable. They acted so superior to every one else there but as soon as Bubba bellowed they would al jump like bitches.

He was on TV the other day bragging that he lost 80 lbs. Well, only 80 more to go. He still has a fat double chin and is built like a pig, just a smaller pig. Trying to put on a new image. Once a fat pig always a fat pig.

So the point to all of this is; are people going to spend $50 on a radio and $155 a year to listen to what we used to hear for free? You might be thinking that they are going to go a lot further now because there are no restrictions on satellite radio. Well they really can’t. They were having women “simulate” sex on the radio and although I was never there I’d bet it wasn’t acting. They had contests where virgins lost their virginity I mean really, what else is there? If they go any further they will be so over the line that terrestrial radio won’t take them back after this if it flops. Neither Howard Stern or Bubba will completely shut the door on it because they have such extravagant lifestyles they have to continue to earn to maintain it.

So is it worth it? I used to sell Sirius Satellite radio and listened to it at work all the time. It is just like cable TV. There are 120 stations but how many pertain to YOU. Of the 120 you might listen to 2 or 3 and if you’re into sports one more. On the other hand if it is music you want a lot of people are buying iPods or MP3 players. The $200 you spend on that could get you 200 songs. At an average of 3 minutes a song that is 10 hours of music. And not just any music but your favorite music. AND YOU OWN IT. Once you decide to discontinue the subscription your music is gone and you have a $50 paper weight.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://nextleveltvproducer.blogspot.com/2005/12/new-year-to-sirius-or-not-to-sirius.html' title='The New Year - To Sirius or not to Sirius. I remember when I was a kid we had winters like that and for the last 15 or so it has really slacked off.

Because we attract so many people here I kind of use it as a soap box. This time I wanted to say that a big part of the reason we all enjoy to Christmas so much isn't because we get things but because we give things. Giving things, even to people we don't know hits a chord in us all that fills something in us like nothing else.

It makes me think of one of my favorite movies, "Pay It Forward" with Kevin Spacey, Haley Joel Osmet and a smokin' Helen Hunt. For those of you who have never seen it the movie is about a boy who is assigned a project in school to change the world. His project is to do 3 things for people that are very difficult for you personally but you can do for someone that will affect their lives in a way that only that particular thing can. Then that person has to do 3 things to pay it forward.

So maybe you will do something nice for someone even if it isn't life changing.

Happy Holiday's

Bikini shoots are up!

Hi again, hope you don't get tired of me all the time but I wanted to update you and let you know that Jasmine and Jenny's bikini videos are up.

I also wanted to point out that the main stream media is FINALLY picking up on what was the very first editorial I wrote for this site. It was intended to be a show but it does not really fit the genera of NLTV.

The topic is kids and computers and internet predators. Parents that buy computers for their kids and let them have them in their rooms unsupervised are asking for problems. The shouldldldd bite that should be taken from my notes are: "all the information in the world is available at your child's finger tips but it is not actively seeking your kids, sexual predators are."

Well, I'm still working on taking the show commercial so we can do a lot more cool stuff. It is tough to make a living, do the show and do the site so while one suffers the other is spoiled.

I hope you noticed the video clip of Selina in the bikini. We shot that as a promotion for the show. It was intended to be a merchandise shoot as we had a bunch of sick rides there but I didn't quite get what we needed. Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of awesome images, how could there not be with these hot women but it is one of the "you know it when you see it" kind of thing.

So anyway, while I was running around like crazy trying to keep everyone happy (that is what producers are supposed to do) I shot some video.

There will be one of Jasmine and one of Jenny coming soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

As we begin this holiday season I just wanted to drop a line here about my thoughts. My parents were older when they had me and have been gone now for several years. I had a few very serious relationships but never married so the holidays are not all that fulfilling. Plus having grown up in the northeast and now living in Florida there is no season change so it is even less dramatic.

What I want to say is that if you are attending big family get togethers and there are people there you don't get along with, get over it. Each year that goes by we have one less holiday season and your life is one year shorter, make the best of it.

Wow - big boost in signups lately!

Hey everyone, I want to say thanks for all the recent signups. This past Friday was the biggest single day signup I have personally witnessed. Since I never win anything in life when I was informed that the show was nominated in it's category of "best edcuational/instructional" I was excited but soon that was replaced with dismay as I realized that this was another great opportunity to lose.

This past weekend the awards ceromony was held and I had planned on attending but I didn't feel like getting all dressed up to go lose again. What a mistake that was. I had to wait till Tuesday to find out because the station is closed on Sunday and Monday and the awards were on Saturday.

Not only did it win the category it was nominated in but it picked up 2 other awards, one for "Best Remote footage" and the other was the big one "Best Over All Show". I can't believe it! I won something! Not only the category nominated in but Best Over ALL Show. I'm still bubbling.

If you click on the image on the cover of the web site www.nextleveltv.com I have a list of all the cast, crew and participants.

Peace

F~

Republicans touting energy conversation - can you say recession???

We are only beginning to see the ripple effect that the Gulf coast disaster will cause. I believe we are headed for an economic recession.

With so many people being displaced, all the thousands of jobs that are just gone now because they don't exist, the rising cost of fuel and the already poor economy you better be holding on to the check book. The republican party in the White House is calling for all Americans to use less energy. REPUBLICANS are telling us to CONSERVE ENERGY. What is wrong with that picture? Haven't they been denying global warming since it was first found? Aren't they the ones that give huge corporations all kinds of breaks that have gutted the environmental laws passed by previous administrations?

And if you bought investment homes that need repair??? Wait till you see how much construction materials rise because of the disaster. And because there is so much work many trades people are going to go where the work is at and rebuilding hundreds of miles of Gulf coast is where that will be. Many positions will go unfilled for skilled trades other places in the country driving labor costs up. This is going to be the nail in the coffin for real estate as an investment.

My advice? Don't vote for Republicans.

Hurricane Katrina - The aftermath

I have to say that ever since this tragedy began I have been transfixed by the news. Living in Tampa Bay, with a hurricane spinning on the other coast as I write this, I feel for these people.

I may be callous but it is somewhat troubling that they are just pumping raw sewage into Lake Ponchatrain. Since the city is under mandatory evacuation there isn't a huge rush to drain it so why not treat the water in some way before killing that entire lake and then have to deal with that clean up. I don't get it. It is the second largest salt-water lake in the US. It is a unique habitat that is being destroyed.

And since this is a blog where we vent it amazes me how the Bush administration can have such a horrible failure as what the entire world witnessed and they send out their spin teams to make it sound like nothing went wrong. "It is all going as planned." They even had the balls to say that they were ahead of schedule!

You mean to tell me that they could not have redirected one helicopter to drop water and MREs to the people at the Super Dome and the Convention Center? Come on! You mean to tell me that News reporters could be there broadcasting this tragedy on CNN, FOX and MSNBC 24 hours a day and the head of FEMA finds out 3 days into it that all these people are in trouble? Last year she was the Miss Teen Model Universe where she went to Ghana, Africa to compete and currently she holds Miss Ft. Meyers while she competes for the Miss USA.

I have to say that although she is one of the youngest and busiest women to work on the show she is one of the most professional. Her training for the pageants really makes a huge difference in her preparation.

And her beauty doesn't hurt either. The first shoot we did was at the Indy race and not only did she land us some great interviews but she hooked up with some cool people that hopefully we can get some time with in the show for you. Although it may be a little tough since one of the just won the Indy 500.

Keep your eye on Ashley, she is definitely going to be in this industry and you can say that you saw her in her first TV gig right here.

Changes coming to Next Level TV (KANEVA)

Hey all, hope everything is going good. If you have been looking around the site lately you will notice that there are little updates all over the place.

One of the newest is the link to KANEVA. The reason I provided this is because some people wanted the ability to view a higher quality show. The problem is that I'm limited on the amount of bandwidth I can provide for free.

A while back I got an email from a complete stranger (Chris Klause) asking if he could use the show in his new project. I asked who he was and why he wanted it and hence our connection with KANEVA.

What KANEVA is is a legal, Napster-like file sharing platform that not only allows the sharing of most any file type but it allows developers and producers to sell their productions to the individual. The main differences are that one, all the stuff on KANEVA is legal: you won't find any illegal file sharing there; and two, it is done through communities, much like a yahoo group. That way you know what it is you are downloading and who it is from.

And I mentioned that producers can sell their products through it. If you visit KANEVA and find the Next Level TV community you can see that the Bloopers and the Learn2Ride show are free but I have the Sky Diving show up but that one you have to pay for.

It takes a LOT of time, energy, focus, effort and determination to get these shows complete. I hope that you enjoy them enough that you will buy them so that we can keep making them and get better and do some really cool things.

Weldon wins first Indy street race

Hey all, it has been a horribly busy time since the race. We had a GREAT time with Red Bull who hooked us up all week end. I got to meet Indy winner Eddie Cheever and he shows us around the Red Bull racing trailer.

We also hooked up with Patrick Carpantier who, if you have followed NLTV for any length of time you would recognise his Team Player car on our business cards. New hostess Ashley Avis got to do a great interview with him, Series Champ Tony Kanaan, Scott Sharp and race winner Dan Wheldon.

And speaking of Ashley, she is our first hostess from the pagent circuit. She was last years Miss Teen Model Universe where she had to travel to Ghana, Africa to compete. The training the women have to go through for pagents really pays off. Ashley took the mic in hand and went at it like a seasoned pro.

We have a littel more to shoot for the Indy race show before it is complete but it is going to be our best show ever!

Bryan Herta takes Indy pole in shootout

Today, Bryan Herta of Andretti Green Racing became the first driver to earn an Indy pole for a street course. You can NOT believe the circus it is up there. There is media from all over the country and even international reporters.

It does not cease to amaze me how the government is using this as a ploy to gain favors with the extreme right. They know full well that the law they passed was toothless and President GW Bush knows full well what they did was only a charade. No court is going to step in this as it is clearly defined by law. It was only to make the religious right feel that these are their guys and hey, we went to bat for you but it didn't go our way. When they knew it wouldn't all along.

#1 is who is Terri's guardian? Michael Schaivo. The legal guardian has all say over the situation as a parent does a child. Do you think Terri would want to live like this? Would you?

#2 The courts have ruled for YEARS that Michael has the right to make these decisions and no new court is going to step on another courts toes unless you provide enough evidence that make the other court look stupid and that isn't going to happen. This is founded in law and you can't just start making wild deviations from the law to suit one family. Then other families can say that you did it for them you have to do it for me. We just can't do that.

#3 Isn't Michael Schaivo going to profit from his wife's death? Hardly. All the money from their case has been eaten up by medical and care costs as well I'm sure legal costs. Michael has turned down a million dollars because it isn't about the money. What would end up happening if the Schindler's get their way is that Terri's care would come from Medicare and we would all be paying the bill.

Now I'm not saying that her life is worth any less and I don't want to foot the bill so pull the plug. I am saying that I, nor anyone I have spoken to about this would want to live in that state. If it is obvious that her 'life' is over why keep her vessle behind?

Are you a Christian? Do you believe in God? Do you believe in Heaven? Then why wouldn't you want Terri to be there with God and in Heaven? Why would you want her here trapped in an uncontrollable body that has abandoned her long ago? Wouldn't you want her to bask in God's loving warmth and glow? Wouldn't you want her to have the freedom that leaving this world would give her?

If you don't then maybe you should ask yourself why? Do you believe there really is a God, is there really a Heaven?

Think about it.

Till later

F~

Attending the HISTORIC INDY Race 4/1-4/3

Hey everyone, Frank here, hope everything is going great. We have been real busy around here getting ready for the Honda Saint Petersburg Grand Prix. This is a historic event in Indy racing as this is the first time Indy cars are taking right turns and racing through city streets. http://www.stpetegrandprix.com

The Next Level TV women are getting ready to do some great interviews with city and race officials as well as the drivers and crews. We are looking at getting with a team to upgrade our cards from teh old ones with Heather and the CHAMP car.

First Blog post

OK this is a test, fo rthe next sixty seconds...
